Jennifer is the Latin America Product Manager at Travel Beyond, where she has designed custom independent journeys as the Lead Consultant for this region since 2013. Jennifer’s career in travel began at Natural Habitat Adventures, where she spent 14 years as a Sr. Adventure Director overseeing nature and wildlife trips throughout North and South America. Her experience has been largely focused on ecotourism and conservation travel in South America, and she has visited the continent more than 50 times. Jennifer’s specialty and passion has always been the Galapagos, and she has in-depth knowledge of the islands, which are like a second home. She was even married to her husband, Paul, at Tortuga Bay on the island of Santa Cruz. Jennifer has been designated as a Condé Nast Traveler Top Specialist for the Galapagos, Peru, and Chile since 2021 and was named a Trendsetter by Luxury Travel Advisor in 2016. She has twice been featured in the New York Times for her travel expertise. She holds a BS in Education and Earth Science from the University of Kansas, and lives in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. She is proud to have served as an IGTOA board member since 2015.
